From the 1st of April 2019 we will be changing our policy on prescription wait times. It will be increased from 48 hours to a 72 hour period. Please allow adequate time when requesting.
Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:
- By Hand – drop the white part of you repeat slip in at reception with the required items clearly marked.
- By Post – send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
- By Fax – to 0161 226 5644
- Online – follow the link at the top of this page and carry out a simple registration.
Please note we are unable to accept requests over the telephone.
You can collect your prescription from the surgery at the designated reception point. This reception is open from 8am until 6pm on the days the surgery is open.
Alternative you can ask your pharmacy to collect it on your behalf.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.
Please allow three full working days between requesting and collecting your medication. If you are using the postal service you should allow longer so please order in plenty of time.
